These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from Zawadi, the gifting brand of Brixara (GSTIN: 33BDDPA5227L2ZT), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Refund Policy, which together form your agreement with us.

1. About us & eligibility

• Zawadi is operated by Brixara, a GST-registered business in India.
• To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a legally binding contract, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when ordering.

2. Products & personalisation

• Most of our products are personalised and made to order using the photos, names, and details you provide.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you submit — spelling, names, dates, and image quality.
• Product images on the site are for illustration. Handmade and printed items may show slight variation in colour, position, or finish, which is normal and not a defect.

3. The design proof & approval

• It is your responsibility to review the proof carefully before approving.
• Once you approve, you accept the design as final. Errors visible in an approved proof (such as spelling or photo choice) are not eligible for free replacement or refund.
• If you don't respond to a proof, your order may be delayed until you do.

4. Orders & acceptance

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order — for example, if a product is unavailable, the content is prohibited (see below), or there's a pricing error.
• If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we'll inform you and refund any amount paid.

5. Content you provide

By submitting photos or text for personalisation, you confirm that:

• You own or have permission to use the content, and it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or privacy.
• The content is not unlawful, offensive, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• You grant us permission to use the content solely to produce your order. We will not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

We reserve the right to refuse any order containing content we consider inappropriate or unlawful.

6. Pricing & payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payment is processed securely through our payment gateway.
• We make every effort to display accurate prices, but in the event of an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you.

7. Shipping, returns & cancellations

Delivery timelines, shipping terms, replacements, refunds, and cancellations are covered in our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refund Policy, which form part of these terms. In short: personalised items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, but we replace items that are damaged, wrong, or differ from your approved proof.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including our brand name, logo, designs, text, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Brixara and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control (such as courier delays, natural events, or technical failures).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from content you submit for personalisation that infringes a third party's rights or violates these terms.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated terms.
